Medical Microinstruments Inc is looking for people with a passion for innovation and a dedication to excellence. MMI is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing team.


Role and main responsibilities:

  • Manages the general ledger for North America and Headquarters, which includes Payroll, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Leases and Intangible Asset accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policy and company procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to month-end close and tax deadlines.
  • Ensure journal entries and account reconciliations are properly supported, prepared and reviewed.
  • Apply cash.
  • Seeks business partner feedback and drives improvements to the consolidation and reporting systems.
  • Continually identifies opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support compliance by satisfying all regional requests timely and accurately.
  • Reports directly to the Corporate Controller and helps to hire, retain and develop resources and tools to align with leadership goals and objectives.


Required/preferred background and experience:

  • B.A. in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • 2-3 years NetSuite experience.
  • Experience working in an U.S. global, multi-cultural and multi-location company.
  • Experience in Start-up/Pre-IPO manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in line with leadership objectives.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills in English written and spoken.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills such as open communication, reliability, time management, delegation and accountability.
