We are looking for a Electrical Sustaining Engineer to join our Operations Department:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with QA to manage Product Quality Issues and Complaints performing investigation, root cause analysis of failures, and proposing remediation.
- Develop Test Protocols and related Equipment to measures MFG parts reliability, EOL and qualiy investigation campaign.
- Update MFG product items to improve parts quality and reliability modifying drawings, specs or selecting different supplier or different production methods.
- Design and develop MFG tools included documentation to optimize assembly or production process.
- Develop mitigation for dFMEA and pFMEA identified risks.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Issue analysis using structured Problem Solving methods (A3 DMAIC).
- Work with Operations Quality on Production Change Orders to maintain updated Items and Documents on company PLM (Arena preferred).
- Interface with Suppliers of Components and Equipments used in Manufacturing.
- Ability to conduct audits at external suppliers of electrical and electronic components.
Requirements
- Previous experience on similar roles.
- Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree
- Able to make and review complex Electrical Schematics and Electrical Drawings.
- Experience with electronics board and cable design, connector selection, reliability and electrical measures.
- Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
- Able to fix boards, soldering electrical components and crimp connector or route cables.
- Experience with ELE CAD SW (Altium Preferred)
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work in multi-functional teams
- Able to write and review tech and Manufacturing documentation.
- The ability to develop software in a LabVIEW environment would be highly appreciated.
- Medical Quality System knowledge is a plus
