We are looking for an experienced and Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and Process Shipments: Oversee the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments, ensuring that all materials are verified for accuracy and quality.
Shipping Coordination: Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and arranging transportation according to company protocols and customer requirements.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment ensuring that all materials are handled efficiently and securely.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring that all data is accurately entered into the system.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and timely operations. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or delays
Warehouse Organization: Manage the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, optimizing space utilization and ensuring a safe and orderly working environment.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or other supervisory personnel.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and data entry.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job, particularly in inventory management and documentation.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork and Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
Experience: Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
