About the role

As an Intern in Clinical Operations & Logistics, you will have the opportunity to join Empatica's Operations Team in Boston. This role will involve close collaboration with our Clinical Operations & Logistics Teams, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our processes.

Within this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring an adequate inventory and proper allocation of devices for upcoming studies
• Assisting in managing and maintaining relationships with vendors
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail for all products, materials, and supplies
• Assembling, inspecting, and packaging devices as required
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations

This internship is intended to start in September and will last for 3 months on a part-time basis, with the potential for contract extension.

You are the ideal candidate if:

• Currently in college in the Boston area, preferably studying operations, supply-chain management, international business/trade/commerce or a related field
• Available to work up to 20 hrs/week in-office
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Full of excitement and not afraid to speak up when you see an improvement can be made
• Desire to learn about many different aspects of a Start-up environment
• Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude towards a variety of tasks
