Accounting Intern

Job Description:

MainStreaming is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance within a fast-growing international company. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager and will support various accounting activities, including monthly closures and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in Accounting activities: Assist in the monthly closure activities (e.g., checking and issuing invoices, recording transactions, reconciliations of bank, and account payables/receivables), ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Financial Reporting: Help prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with financial regulations, communication and alignment with external tax advisor.

• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of accounting processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, excellent communication skills, eagerness to learn.

• Competencies: Detail-oriented, team player, motivated to learn, ability to work under pressure.

• Language: Fluency in Italian and English required.
