We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Industrial Controller (Lead Financial Analyst) to join our team in Italy.

 

This key position will be in charge of the Operations Finance role, providing business partnership with the Operations and Distribution departments. The Industrial Controller will be responsible for budgeting and financial planning, long-range plans, business modeling, and financial and management reporting.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Operations Finance Management:

  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the Operations and Distribution departments.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to monitor and optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support operational goals.

Budgeting and Financial Planning:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts and long-range plans.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights.

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Operations and Distribution teams, offering financial guidance and support.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial decision-making.
  • Provide financial expertise in the evaluation of new projects, investments, and cost-saving initiatives.

Business Modeling:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential outcomes and risks.

Financial and Management Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with Italian and international accounting standards.
  • Present financial performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS. US GAAP is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

About MMI

It offers the surgeon motion scaling and tremor elimination and aims to facilitate existing procedures as well as enable new ones in the domain of microsurgery, from post-oncological and trauma reconstructions to ophthalmology, organ transplantation and pediatric surgery.
