About the position

 
 

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, document, and support scalable self-running software that automatically generates and tests machine learning applications. You will apply the latest research and use state of the art algorithms and machine learning to build a scalable system. You will be involved in all phases of product development from conceptualization of features, model implementation, unit testing, performance analysis, and deployment.

 

You will learn cutting-edge technologies and develop well-rounded skills such as agile development, leadership, and effective project management. You will mentor junior machine learning engineers. You will work both remotely and in the Milan office.

Qualifications & Skills

 
 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field

​

  • Excellent understanding and experience in the field of AI and related technologies

​

  • 2+ years hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models (supervised and unsupervised methods, clustering, classification, tabular data, timeseries forecasts, deep learning)​​

 

  • 2+ years hands-on experience in Python and its data-related libraries (pandas, numpy)

​

  • Knowledge of Linux systems, bash and command line tools

​

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure or others)

​

  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment
